Big Butts=Big Brains

This was a very interesting article I found on the allwomenstalk app:

Scientists from the University of Oxford have discovered that women with larger than average butts are not only increasingly intelligent but also very resistant to chronic illnesses. According to ABC News, the results found that women with bigger backsides tend to have lower levels of cholesterol and are more likely to produce hormones to metabolize sugar. Therefore, women with big butts are less likely to have diabetes or heart problems. And having a big butt requires an excess of Omega 3 fats, which have been proven to catalyze brain development. The researchers also found that the children born to women with wider hips are intellectually superior to the children of slimmer, less curvy mothers. Eyeonthenut reports that the team analyzed data from 16,000 women. “Professor Konstantinos Manolopoulos, who leads the team at the University of Oxford, says that women with more fat on the buttocks have lower levels of cholesterol and glucose.” Having a big butt also favors leptin levels in the female body, which is a hormone responsible for regulating weight, and dinopectina, a hormone with anti-inflammatory, vascular-protective and anti-diabetic attributes. The adipose tissue of the buttocks traps harmful fatty particles and prevents cardiovascular disease. Eyeonthenut also cites similar studies conducted by universities in California and Pittsburgh not too long ago that discovered that women with bigger butts, wide hips and smaller waists may even live longer as well. *This study did not include fake butts.

House of beautiful hair initial review

SYNOPSIS: so far so good.
The bundles are decent sized.  It didn't have any weird  chemical smell. As soon as I wet the hair it went right back to its original state without having to add conditioner. The hair is  really soft and no shedding or tangles so far.

Mini haul ya'll

Check out what I picked up from CVS & Ulta! I've been so eager to try the sheamoisture line that I went a lil crazy.  Thank God I Did! I'm in love with these products. They leave my transitioning hair so soft and manageable. On top of that my natural curls are pretty, defined, and frizz free. What more could I want?
I'm also really enjoying this Freeman anti stress dead sea mineral mask.  This mask is perfect for nights when you need some stress relief or just want to pamper yourself.  The smell alone is soo intoxicating! The smell instantly relaxes me.
I decided to test out Ulta's  salon formula nail lacquer. I picked up two of these polishes in a blue and peach color. I've been wanting to try maybelline baby skin so I also brought a tube of that along with two color tattoo eyeshadows. So far I'm loving everything.

Nail Files: What is a Base Coat?

Base coats come in plain and ridge-filler varieties. Ridge-filling base coats are thicker. They fill in any lines, ridges and grooves to give the nails a smoother looking appearance.
Most base coats are fortified with substances such as protein, vitamin E or calcium. These ingredients help keep nails healthier and prevent breaking, splitting and peeling.
After the base coast dries, apply two coats of colored nail polish rather and you're good to go. You can also use a base coat on its own to make your nails look naturally shiny.
My current base coat is "bonder" by Orly. This is the first and base coat I ever used. I also tried Sinful Color base coat but it could never compare to my Orly bonder. After I used a base coat I noticed immediately that my manicures lasted much longer. If you love doing your own nails Orly bonder is a must have.

Paper Chasin'

Yea, its  been a minute since I  posted. I've been busy with school and work, I'm just tryna get it. I been on a paper chase. I'm not even bout to lie... I hate my job. Well, I don't necessarily hate it but i am unhappy with a lot of aspects of my job.

  1. We're constantly understaffed
  2. My boss is a tyrant
  3. I'm well underpaid
Out of all three of those, #3 is the biggest problem. If they actually paid me more I'll be able to deal with 1 & 2 a lot better. So right now I've been applying to different companies, hoping to find something better that pays more. I filled out some applications last week and got 2 callbacks so far. I actually have an interview with Target two days from today. I hope all goes well.

I know Target probably pays minimum wage but I'm hoping they pay more for the position I applied for, which is back room and sales floor person. On my application I asked for more than minimum wage, which is what I make at my current job. Hopefully we can negotiate.  I'm on that paper chase.
