CVS Bargains/ Sale Finds

Today after work I stopped by my local CVS. It's a Saturday I got off early and I'm not going to lie, I stopped in to pick up some alcoholic beverages lol. But Anywho.... I love buying makeup now and I knew I had a $3.00 off coupon an also a 20% off one so, I decided to take a walk down the makeup aisle to see what they had and if there was anything new I wanted to try.  To my surprise the first item I spot was a Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder  for 50% off. Thank You JESUS. I'm just a little excited because I heard this product was a Dupe for a MAC pressed powder and every since then I wanted to try it. I just didn't want to purchase it for full price when I have two other pressed powders I haven't even finished yet. But , yes we will see how well this powder holds up. The other item that happened to come across was the Revlon Nearly Naked foundation. This Product was 75% off. Now, I said to myself if these products are on clearance or sale then, maybe there is something wrong with them. But I notice that with the foundation along with the powder there was only one shade , which was the ones that I chose that were on clearance. So maybe not a lot of women of color shop at that CVS for their makeup  but I DO ! Lol. Yeah, so I was excited as hell that I came across these clearance items especially in the shades that I needed. BEGINNERS GUIDE: Starting an healthy/diet lifestyle

Lately, I've been more concerned with my health. I think it's the fact that I realize that I'm getting older and honestly I'm just plain unhealthy. As far as what I eat and being active. One thing I want to stress to the people reading this is changing habits or trying to be more healthy takes time. If you want to lose weight, be more active, or just want a healthier lifestyle...ease your way into it. There is no need to rush. Don't decide you want to lose weight Sunday so you go to the gym Monday and overdue it. If you have been eating McDonalds cheeseburgers for 20 years , saying you're going to be a vegan tomorrow is going to be almost impossible. Its ok to take things one day at a time. I still eat cookies just healthier ones. I tried cutting soda out of my diet and tried 100% juice juices. Be careful lots of juices are from concentrates and have tons of sugar.

Healthy Eating

It's been awhile, but I'm back. I'm trying to be healthier now. I wanna get rid of this gut. Today I stopped by my local grocery store and picked up a few items, I actually tried to opt for the healthier versions. I also planned out my meals for the week which may alter due to my work schedule and the fact that I work at a restaurant ( meaning I might eat dinner or lunch at home or work.. It really depends). I'm not a breakfast person which is horrible since breakfast is of course the most important meal of the day. I decide to try out the Special K chocolate and strawberry cereal and some fruit for on the go in the morning. I'm planning on making another trip for more fruit, chicken breast, and some green bottled smoothies. I tried one for the first time in this haul and it was AMAZING! I cannot believe I haven't been drinking these things. It has like 3 or 4 servings of veggies and fruit. It will definitely be a staple item.
